Sigiriya

Sigiriya Sigirya, from afar is a rock; closer the ruins of  ancient city with gardens; still more closer, a citadel; closer and closer a natural fortress; on the way up the rock, a art gallery; on the summit are ruins of an ancient castle, once shone in omnidirectional splendor and grandeur.
